The JMDP 1812 Prometheus is the pyrodyne of the Phoenix Mercenaries. The pyrodyne is a heavily armored tank with twin plasma jets mounted. It is slow and has poor perception, but is lethal against infantry. It cannot target airborne units.
Description[]
The Phoenix have taken their pyrotech to the next level with this fire-breathing monster. This tank’s power is devastating to behold and is one of the "secret" weapons of the Phoenix. One that the Crayven Corporation has no idea about.
The pyrodyne is armed with high-powered short ranged flame-jets. The unstable plasma accelerator is similar to the one used by the grenadiers but to a higher degree. The bursts are ejected inside the craft, and then magnified by the accelerator. The flame jets strike with amazing force and can demolish buildings and tanks in seconds. Its main weakness is its poor range; the design of the pyrodyne requires it to be very close for effective use.
The pyrodyne is also capable of ejecting an explosive round of force called a Helios flame that will devastate the nearby area, friendly units, and sometimes even the pyrodyne itself.
